About Shivaram Kumar

Kumar and Anjali grew up in Mumbai, India, just a few miles apart, but they did not meet until they moved to the United States. They arrived in the U.S. in the same year, Kumar to pursue his master’s degree in computer engineering, and Anjali to attend her sister’s wedding. Kumar found a job as a computer consultant, and Anjali stayed on to develop a career in the travel field. “We were totally oblivious to what lay ahead,” says Kumar, “But, here I was, only a couple of years into my career, picking up major momentum in my on software consulting business, and already in the top 5% income bracket in the U.S. And there she was, furthering her career as a travel consultant. We grew up in Mumbai, just a few miles apart, but we did not meet until we came to America”

A few years into their marriage, they became successful entrepreneurs, with diverse interests that range from IT, tech start-ups, marketing, movie production to asset development. They have built their enterprises with a “people first, profits second” mind-set, and spend a lot of time mentoring young entrepreneurs worldwide. Kumar also wrote his first book “Iron Man, Silken Heart” in 2016, which was published in six languages and well received by thousands of entrepreneurs worldwide.

Their priorities – Family, Health, Relationships, Joy & Laughter, Dreams, Financial freedom and Charity. They enjoy traveling the world, and speaking to aspiring business builders and entrepreneurs. They are parents to three wonderful girls – Devika, Tarika and Ritika.
